So I dated this wonderful girl, we’ll call her Lisa and when we dated I wasn’t a great boyfriend. I was self-absorbed and broken. She stuck around as long as she could. I was blind really because when we broke up I was truly hurt. I learned a lot about myself in the past months after our break-up. We flirted here and there toying the idea of trying again and long story short, it’s done. She no longer wants to be my friend and or have anything to do with me. I get it, I wasn’t a great person but all I ask is for forgiveness. You don’t have to be my friend, you don’t have to like me; just forgive me. She wasn’t perfect either but the point is I hope she finds peace and can forgive me. We’re done and won’t be talking. So that’s that.
In other news, I’m super excited to be playing a show with music from some of the raddest dudes on the planet. Life as Lions has been a wounded project for a long time. We’ve got a great line-up and I’m very excited for the future. Until then, I’m out.
